Sonic Realism, Sonic Actualism and Black Music

What does it mean to say that types of music, historical genres of music, or any particular of instance music are ‘ dark’? What does it mean to say that music is ‘black’? Are the senses in this context the same (synonymy)? Or are the references describing similar sets of values? (affinity)? This brief critical examination will touch on these questions within both Black Existential and Analytical-Aesthetic frameworks.
